Maybe it's symbolism for our soft squishy insides (emotions) always being chained to our armor (emotional defense mechanisms)

think harder! it's awesome. i had the feeling this picture is about getting rid of illusions, thoughts and feelings. they watch you, they chose not you will, and we are weak slaves of ourselves. she also has no eyes which means that all these things make her blind and obedient.
it also shows an inner fight or just the last fight before you desperately wait for death to come like the whole life is suffering.

it's symbolism for a normal woman tide to a wood, so any one could come and do her harm or wild animals could eat her <_<
